Booking Form If you are thinking of booking a stay at Stacey's Place please enquire for latest seasonal prices and do not hesitate for too long as we really do book up fast. We require a 50% deposit by cheque payable to A. Stacey when booking confirmed, remainder to be paid in Euros on arrival. Airport pickup service from Rennes available on request.
- Barbless hooks only
- Strictly no nuts of any description
- No permanently fixed lead rigs to be used
- Baited rods must not be left unattended
- Any hook wounds must be treated with anti-septic (see Andy)
- No Keep nets
- Landing nets, unhooking nets and weigh slings are all supplied by Andy (Do Not Bring Your Own)
- All fish to be returned to the water as quickly as possible
- All baits to be used are supplied by Andy, cheaper than the UK!! (Do Not Bring Your Own).
- No fires
- Litter to be deposited in bins provided
- No unruly behaviour
- No radios

- Buzzers to be switched off while setting up (especially during the night)

A warm welcome awaits you at Stacey's Place from Andy and the whole family, who will all do their best to make your stay as pleasant and rewarding as possible.
We have many species of birds, rabbits, butterflies, and water fowl, and red squirrels. Andy even has his own little collection of goats, a donkey, chickens and turkeys.
Directions
Ferries leave from Portsmouth and Poole, companies such as LD Lines, and Brittany Ferries. to Le Harve, Caen and Cherbourg.
A Fast boat leaves Portsmouth to Cherbourg after March, the crossing time is approx. 2.5 hours.
The daytime crossing to Cherbourg is approx. 4.5 hours.
Stacey's Place is situated within easy driving distance from the main ports in the area. We are just 2.5 hours from Caen, 3 hours from Le Havre and 2 hours from Cherbourg.
Ameneties
Accommodation
Pitch your bivy on the bank where you fish. We also have a mobile home for those who do not like sleeping under canvas. It comprises of 2 x double beds and 2 x single beds, toilet with seperate shower, and fully equipped kitchen.
The mobile home is checked daily and all damages will be charged.
Food
All evening meals to be booked before arrival. Breakfast and lunch book daily. All food to be paid for daily.
There are supermarkets within 10 kilometres for those who wish to feed themselves.

About the Water
Our property totals 6.5 acres of which 2.5 acres is lake. The lake was dug out over 2 hundred years ago as holding water for the mill opposite. The lake is stream fed from the South West end which is also the area dessignated to wild life.
About the Fish
We have carp over 30 lbs including commons and mirrors, sturgeon over 15 lbs, tench over 8 lbs roach and perch.
